We have been auctioning for almost eight months now and I want to celebrate with a brief history of how we got here:
The first auction
The first auction started on February 17, 2025. Only one person bid, who won an original tribute to Toriyama for 10€ (Image above. I look at it and I don't believe it - I want to buy it back!!!). Congratulations to the winner.
Next auctions
The first auction aroused some interest among subscribers and followers in social networks and the following days and weeks several more works were auctioned. Prices went up until reaching a record high of 200€ with La Casa de la Marquesa.
Private Auctions
A few weeks later I launched the Clandestine Auctions, which were only for newsletter subscribers. Between these and the normal auctions I flooded the web with auctions (up to 5 originals sold per week). Logically the prices went down.
Legendary Auctions
I started to wear myself out with so many auctions and I had to reduce the number of auctions. The Legendary Auctions appeared and I ended up killing the Clandestine Auctions (much to my regret). Prices went up again.
(Ironically, he earned the same amount selling 7 originals as 17... incredible, isn't it?)
TODAY: Grand Slam Offer
This was an idea I borrowed from Alex Hormozi, to make fewer auctions but present them in such a spectacular and irresistible way that they would be very hard to refuse. The winner gets not just an original but a wonderful carefully selected pack with lots of extras. Records are again being set at this stage (Cala Pinets, Benissa 250€). I love the Grand Slam Offers.
TOMORROW
We'll see. Will you join me?
