SOBRE LA TORTUGA BOBA
Las tortugas marinas son verdaderas nadadoras oceánicas que rara vez se acercan a tierra excepto para reproducirse. La tortuga boba es las más frecuente en Europa, como especie reproductora en Canarias y (localmente) en el Mediterráneo. El adulto tiene un caparazón muy grande, ovalado–alargado y pardo rojizo con el plastón amarillento.
Mide hasta 1,2 metros de largo. Pone hasta seis puestas de hasta 200 huevos. Come crustáceos y moluscos. Leer más sobre la tortuga boba
