How much should I bid on an auction?
Although it depends a lot on the budget you have for the purchase of art, the average price for the Legendary Auctions is about 60€ and the highest price is 200€.
Any price up to 400€ would be a good buy although some works may have higher prices depending on several factors. To learn a little more about prices you can read this post.
Why is it so cheap?
Because I am prioritizing to sell many original works in a short time. I am restructuring the workshop and my shelf of originals. It is very possible that during the next months I will increase the prices considerably.
Is there a minimum price?
In the Legendary Auctions There is usually a starting price and a reserve price that remains hidden. If the reserve price is not reached, the work is not sold.
Can I bid at the last minute?
Yes, but all bids placed in the last 5 minutes add an additional 7 minutes to allow for counterbidding. Based on experience in previous auctions, waiting until the last minute doesn't help you get a lower price.
What is a certificate of authenticity?
It is a signed document attesting to the authenticity of a work. All originals include a certificate.
Are there any additional costs?
Picking up your artwork at the workshop is free; there are no additional charges. If you choose home delivery, the cost is €10 (€25 for locations outside Spain). Workshop pickup is on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Oliva Beach, Valencia.
