ABOUT THE SEAHORSE
Seahorses or hippocampi are a group of marine fish belonging to the Syngnathidae family, which also includes pipefishes. Their etymology comes from the combination of the two classical Greek terms ίππος (hippos, meaning "horse"), due to the peculiar resemblance of their heads to those of horses, and kampos ("sea monster").
