ABOUT THE PEREYRA THEATER
With 125 years of history, the Pereyra Theater has been part of the collective imagination of many generations in Ibiza. For decades it was the epicenter of the social and cultural life of the island. It was promoted by the enlightened circles of Eivissa and its construction was completed in 1899. It was the first building to be erected beyond La Marina, the port district. Over time it was transformed into a cinema, an activity that continued until the late eighties of the twentieth century. JAPANESE INSPIRATION
Each piece is made following a long work process inspired by the technique and style of Japanese ukiyo-e prints, using traditional materials such as watercolor, ink, brushes and pens. Learn more about the artist
