ABOUT THE IMAGE
Up there on the mountain, on the camí de Les Foies between Barx and Simat de la Valldigna (from where you can see Simat) there is a fountain called Font del Cirer and just in front of it there is the beginning of a route that goes to the village. If I remember correctly this route is called the camí dels burrosnot because it is for donkeys to walk to Simat but because it was formerly frequented by pack animals. Although it is a theory, I do not know the reason with certainty.

Returning to the fountain, there is a plant that I like very much, the pou's faultwhich is a small and slender fern very typical in wells, fountains and ponds in the area.

Drawings of villages of Valencia, Spain and Portugal. Watercolor painting with a landscape of mountains, fields and a small village in the background. There are also pine trees and other types of trees typical of the area of the Safor region. The blue sky is clear and in the horizon you can see a few more mountains. This is not a photo. Japanese print of Valencian and contemporary ukiyo-e. Hand drawn in urban sketchers style.
