About the puffin

The Atlantic puffin, also known as the common puffin or simply puffin, is the only puffin native to the Atlantic Ocean. Two related species, the puffin ball and the horned puffin, are found in the northeastern Pacific. The Atlantic puffin breeds in Iceland, Norway, Greenland, Newfoundland and many islands in the northern Atlantic. In the south and west, its activity reaches as far south as Maine and the British Isles in the east. Read more
