ABOUT THE ORANGE TREE
The orange tree (Citrus x Sinensis) is a fruit tree that can grow up to 5 meters tall. It is native to India, Pakistan, southeast China and Vietnam although its cultivation has expanded to many other parts of the world. In the more humid regions of Valencia it has become a ubiquitous monoculture, although the constant decrease in the price of oranges has made some growers decide to try other more profitable trees.
