Today I bring this cute and magical thing called Maneki Neko or Lucky Cat. You must have seen it in every bazaar and some stores that are not bazaars. And no, it's not a cat that says hello, it's a cat that invites you in.
Maneki means "invite in" in Japanese. Neko means "cat." Together, they literally mean "cat inviting in". According to Japanese tradition, the message the cat conveys with the movement of its paw is: "Please come in. You are welcome."
