Today we auction this original versionl of Herge's comic strip Tintin in TibetI wrote it wrong in the drawing and it says Tintin on Everest. Future owner, take good care of it. Tintin is cool.
The drawing has some ink streaks on the edges. I like to leave them as a reminder of the handmade process but if you prefer you can cover them with passepartout.

Some anecdotes:
- This illustration appeared in the travel booklet NEPALby far my biggest publishing failure. It sold about 200 copies in almost 10 years.
- Once I did an exhibition in Valencia. I prepared a lot for it. There were a lot of drawings, some from Valencia. The only one I sold was a reproduction of this Tintin drawing.
- Herge's rights managers are very strict with the use of his image. I once received an email asking me to take down a version of Tintin. I took it down right away (and then uploaded it again ehehhee...).
