This week I was on the beach of les Rotes in Denia making the drawing that I show you above. It is for a new collection that for the moment we will call: Postcards of the World.
They are VERY small drawings, made in situ and without great technical pretensions. They are done quickly and are very enjoyable.
When I finished it, I thought about offering it for free on the web, for Premium Subscribers. But something didn't fit well. Something was bothering me... I was giving it a lot of thought...
And what didn't fit was the word free. Free is low cost. It's sleazy. It is suspicious.
I had to ask for help from Gran Espiritu (which is what we call in the temazcals to speak to myself) and he brought me the word gift. And there YES!
Gift is sharing, it is Premium.
It is generosity. It is MAGIC.
So if you like this postcard I'm NOT offering it to you for free, it's a gift 🙂
