Sauraha, Nepal

This is Sauraha, On the left hand side there were several small hotels and guesthouses, on the right hand side was the beginning of the park. On the left hand side there were several small hotels and guesthouses, on the right hand side the park began.

In case you go someday, I'll tell you how was my experience in the national park (it was 2016):

  • I hired two guides to visit the park on foot.
  • The route began by boarding a small wooden boat and crossing a crocodile-infested river.
  • It continued with a wild elephant chasing us and forcing us to get out of the boat and run away from him.
  • After throwing off the elephant and returning to the boat, we ended up in the forest listening to a tiger attacking some deer and analyzing its markings on the trees.
  • Meanwhile, the guides were telling me stories of people who had ended up in the hospital due to attacks by the labiated bear.
  • Perhaps most disturbing was the fact that the guides only had one stick to defend themselves.

Chitwan National Park, Nepal
Highly recommended.

Greetings - PEACE and Love‍.
