Illustrations of the different "animalets" that live on the beaches of Oliva, Valencia.

The drawing shows the sand crab (carranc), the dung beetle (escarabat), the sea lily (lliri de mar), the stingray, the sea bass (llobarro), the tellinas... and a hippopotamus, which is neither native nor can it be found in the wild in Valencian lands.

The original illustration was done in ink, watercolor and colored pencils on paper and is part of the Oliva's travel notebook.
