This drawing in ink and watercolor on paper of one of the houses in the first line of the Platja d'Oliva was made some time before making the Oliva book. It is one of my favorites, perhaps because of its gabled roof and cross plan.
Oliva beach is made up almost entirely of houses and not buildings which gives it a much more relaxing aspect and has allowed it to avoid mass tourism. At least so far.
It is from 2013 and was drawn from life (of that I am sure, of the date not so much).
